In 2003, I was chosen as the winner of the Astley Hall Artist Competition in Chorley, Lancashire.



The prize was to represent Chorley Council as the Council's representative, spending 10 days in an artists camp in the twin town of Szekesfehervar in Hungary.

The time was spent with professors, lecturers, artists from all over Europe including Poland, Italy and the Ukraine. My best piece of work was donated to Szekesfehervar Town Hall to be part of the citys collection.
